Iscon in China distribution agreement for its scanners
![]() |
Woburn, MA-based Iscon Video Imaging, Inc. has reached an exclusive distribution agreement for the Chinese market for its model 1000D whole body scanner portal and its GameChangeIR handheld infrared scanner.
The scanners will be distributed by Beijing Ritchie Link Technology, which Iscon characterizes as a major Chinese distributor to the People’s Republic of China security agencies.
According to Iscon, Beijing Ritchie Link Technology Co, Ltd. will provide sales and support for Iscon’s newly introduced screening equipment to government, aviation and corporations in China.
“This agreement gives us a firm foothold with a highly reputable partner in the People’s Republic of China to deploy our next generation scanning solutions,” Izrail Gorian, Iscon’s co-founder, said in a statement. “We believe that the international market is seeking an alternative to invasive, radiation emitting scanner technologies being deployed today since it is even more focused on the privacy issues than the U.S.”
