FEMA advisory panel to meet in Denver on August 4-5

FEMA’s National Advisory Committee will hold a public meeting in Denver, CO, on August 4 and 5 to receive reports from its subcommittees on preparedness and protection, response and recovery, public engagement and mission support, and federal insurance and mitigation.
The two-day meeting will be held at the Curtis Hotel at 1405 Curtis Street, Denver, CO, 80202 on Wednesday, August 4 from 10 AM to 5:45 PM, and on Thursday, August 5 from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. A public comment period, in which individuals will be given up to three minutes to make their remarks, will take place on August 5 from approximately 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM, according to a FEMA notice published in the Federal Register on July 19.
The advisory panel may also receive updates from FEMA’s regional advisory councils.
